Rabbits or bunnies can make excellent pets or companion for you. After dogs and cats rabbits are the most popular pets in America. Their usual life span is 8-12 years. Bunnies are intelligent, loving and affectionate animal.

Rabbits can be kept in backyard hutch or cages, they can also be house trained easily. Bunnies are quite smart like cats they can be trained to use a litter box. They shouldn't be kept in the cage all the time; they require lot of exercise and affection. Rabbits are relatively expensive when compared to other pets. Bunnies raised in America do not require any vaccination.

Rabbits are very friendly for that owner they rarely get annoyed. Despite the fact that they're timid they're very inquisitive. They're very friendly towards children but children attempting to see rabbits under guidance as rabbits are very delicate.

They can be easily trained:-

Rabbits can be easily litter trained. They are usually very clean animal and they keep the surrounding very clean.

They're very playful:-

Rabbits love playing a great deal, they're much more comfortable when they're active. Bunnies would prefer to hide, run, jump and become cheerful. Rabbits form strong bonds with their owners:-

Getting Rabbits as pets can be somewhat pricey. They might require specialized diet for your newbie they might need alfalfa hay, and pellets, with veggies after twelve months they mostly need veggies.

Finding a veterinarian especially for Rabbits can be a bit of a headache. Rabbits do need a large cage, enough to move around in. These cages have to be properly secured or they might fall prey to predators like dogs, raccoons and large birds. Rabbits like to chew things, electrical wires, books, carpets and water pipes. Rabbits must be supervised.

Overall you'll find more pros than cons to get a rabbit as a pet. They've created a great pet and will help you maintain a positive attitude always.
