Only Akc Registered French Bulldog Puppies Should Be Bough

By Sally Delacruz

If you have settled on French Bulldogs as your pets of choice, at this stage it is necessary to understand the purpose for which you need such an animal. In particular, it depends on the budget, which must be planned for its purchase. Conditionally, AKC registered French bulldog puppies can be divided into several groups.

The question of their origin still remains open. Some researchers believe that this breed comes from the English Toy Bulldogs, imported to France in the 17-19 centuries. However, many scientists claim that among the ancestors of the "Frenchies" are also found Spanish Bulldogs (Alans). It is likely that in the formation of this breed, dwarf and English bulldogs, as well as Spanish Alans have all participated. Officially, the breed was recognized in the early twentieth century. Despite their harsh appearance, the character of these animals is just golden.

The animal is a very affectionate and gentle dog, with which evenings with your family can become wondrous and very fun walks. It feels great affection for your children, loves cooperative games and is always ready to share its favorite toys. The breed is very balanced, smart and always correctly assesses the situation.

Usually, these dogs respond to strangers adequately. Your friend is his friend, but your enemy is his enemy twice over. Sensing danger, the animal will immediately get involved in the fight and will stand its ground until the end.

From their formidable ancestors, these bulldogs have inherited a brave heart, determination and complete confidence. When protecting their owners, they do not hesitate a second to rush in to fight a much larger dog, which, of course, often ends in failure. During walks, the owner should be aware of this feature and promptly to withdraw their "warrior" from the likely battlefield.

Those who are dreaming of having this pet, need to understand that, besides a lot of advantages, this dog offers one big disadvantage. These babies snore quite seriously. However, this still remains an ideal urban breed. It feels great even in a small apartment and will not destroy your home during the day.

The animal will require some attention to its ears and eyes. These and others are also a strong indication of the health of your pet. To avoid inflammation, their ears should be cleaned with a cotton swab or chopsticks twice a month. The eyes should be cleaned daily with a damp clean cloth.

Choosing a puppy is a rather serious affair. To best protect yourself from unpleasant surprises with your animal's health and exterior, choose a dog from a special club or a breeder with a good reputation. Visit several exhibitions, study catalogs, and contact representatives of whatever kennel you find the most likable.
