Safety is undoubtedly paramount for everyone from the smallest rank to the high officials. When people lives are greatly jeopardized, accidents and even death would occur. In the event that a place is in need of security or defense, safety personnel are required. Usually, they can be the ones responsible of governing the law and order in a place and they are called as the police or the military.

Army services are required to give safety to allies and defend the place against enemies. The role of pets is not only to make us happy but they could become military working dogs too. Detection of weapons and bombs. Such pets will be very useful when a suspected or confirmed bomb threat happens. In this scenario, the crowd will panic hence stir anxiety to everyone. But since no human has ever detected bombs before, the dogs role is very apparent. They might sniff into every corner and item to find out dangerous substances and objects.

Significantly important. A fully trained dog is more expensive than you normally thought it would be. But in reality, they seem priceless. Their confidence, detection ability and strong instincts make them as important assets in military services. In addition to that, they would give safety to those civilians who get stuck in a serious and perilous situations.

At least fifty percent of such animal can keep up with the training. This is perhaps the most sad concept of military dogs. The given challenges and even some training are sometimes too much for their body and mind to handle. Before they get trained, they are mostly inspected to determine their capabilities to everything. Inspections mostly highlights their emotional, physical, social and even mental status too.

Dogs also experience mental trauma. Like with humans, such pets cannot escape the effect of training and the pressure when faced with a real life scenario. As a result, they suffer trauma that certainly affect their lives in the future. At the very least, their training must not cause any problems both in mental and physical aspects so they will grow strong and healthy.

They cry for the loss of their handlers and vice versa. When some people die in battle, their comrades mourn. Dogs are not different. They feel the experience of losing a handler and a friend during a battle. With that, such pets would not even listen to their new handlers too. When death occurs, its likely that they would be seen shedding some tears.

Such dogs are not always German shepherd. Contrary to popular belief, such type is not the usual animals used in military operation. Truth be told, they also come in different sizes and breeds. But the best are only selected to assure that they can provide the remarkable service.
