Considering the fact that dogs are the most adopted animals, in home dog training is an exercise that people that keep them as pets should consider as it help in eliminating their annoying habits, ensuring that they behave better. As much as they are known for being friendly, they can also be a source of embarrassment especially when they perform shameful acts when one is hosting guests.

Dogs are known to be social and in order to enhance their interactive skills, giving them some lessons is critical as it make them likable and not infuriating. Most of them have a learning instinct and therefore they are bound to learning things and therefore one should be careful on the tricks they teach them especially if they are all about attacking burglars.

It advisable that dogs are trained while still young as it is easier to teach them trick since its their learning phase as they grow. On the other hand, the mature ones can also learn tricks but it becomes a challenge at first as they have to abandon their old habits and adopt new ones and therefore it might take longer.

Some tricks are good taught by the pet owner as they obey them more; these are such as going to the bathroom whereby one will have to show them the spot they should always go ones they need to, in which case it will take some time to master and would need patience. The best way to get to understand what the dogs like is by leashing them and walking them in the compound and observing what they do.

In home dog training is known to be the best techniques to train dogs as they are taught how to do things on the same environment they live in. This way, its easier for them to adopt these habits since its the place they live in and walk around all day; given that they know the place well, most of the coaching will be on the thing they should not do.
