One of the wonderful novels out there like this comes from the renowned author by the name of Penelope Smith. Her book Animal Talk, in particular, is great because a person can use it as a practical guid if they wish to really mentally communicate with the pets that they love so much. This is one of the top books on animal communication that people are talking about.

The best writers of a book like this one need to have plenty of experience in doing this sort of thing, and if definitely helps if the individual is known by a lot of people to be able to communicate in this way. Carol Gurney is one such person who is known by a lot of people to be able to communicate like this and wrote a book called the Language of Animals. It is a terrific guide for anyone wanting to do this.

This book obviously focuses on the death aspect of owning a pet.
