Amazing Siberian Kittens For Sale

By James Meyer

Unlike any other cat breed, Siberian cats are really friendly and always ready to play, even in adult age. In fact, when it comes to their character, they are more like dogs, family oriented and friendly to visitors and children. Siberian kittens for sale still cannot be found in some areas, but if you want one really amazing pet, you will find a way.

Siberians have impressive, semi-long to long hair, with soft, shorter undercoat and longer, sharper hair on the outside. Even so, this hair is easy to maintain, because it won't get tangled, if brushed regularly. They have longer and more dense winter coats, and lighter summer coats, and in these periods they usually require more frequent combing and brushing.

Their eyes are round and the eye color is not related to the color of their hair. When it comes to their color, they come in a large variety of really interesting colors and patterns, including pointed. These are unusually slow maturing animals, and they need up to 5 years to become adults. Males are considerably larger than females.

These cats used to live in Siberia, as hunters. As pets, they are really gentle to other animals, especially dogs and other cats. Considering their hunter's instincts, it might be a good idea to keep them away from your hamster, for example, although, they probably would not harm him. Even so, better be safe than sorry.

When it comes to an exact color of their coats, make sure to understand that it will change in time. Generally, darker nuances tend to become a little bit lighter, and the opposite thing happens with lighter nuances. Anyway, the breeder will inform you about this, as well as about all other things you should know before buying your new kitty.

Finding a good, reputable breeder is a must. Siberians aren't cheap, and there is a reason for it. Every good breeder will test all the cats for possible genetic diseases, and the kittens should be tested, too. It would be quite risky to buy a pet without some kind of a health clearance. Visually healthy parents cannot be the only guarantee the breeder provides.

In any case, before choosing your new pet, you should know something about this amazing breed. First, about the food. It's probably a good idea to give to your kitten the same type of food he is already used to. After a while, if you want to, you may gradually change the type of food, giving him a chance to get used to it. Just ask the breeder anything you aren't sure about, he will gladly give you all the information.

So, your family will get a new member. Prepare him a bed, some toys, bowls, and everything else he might need. Don't forget a small, soft ball. Siberians just love to play with balls, playing fetch or anything that will keep them close to their owners. They will also enjoy spending time with your children, and make friends with your dog, if you have one, or any other pet.
