You can even have a hand painted picture put on the box, based on a picture of your pet. This can be done with charcoal, colored pencils or any other art medium. You can even do this if you don't have a picture. The artist can use a picture of the breed and make adjustments as you direct.

Some of these urns are made as a sculpture. There is no box, just the shape of the dog on a base. The top of the box is shaped like the breed of dog you had, in some cases. In others, there is a generic shape. You can choose what top of sculpture you want.

Sometimes, when you lose a pet, you are so upset you can't make good decisions. You may have neglected to ask for the ashes if you pet was cremated. You should not let this upset you. You can use one of these urns and write a letter and put it in it, or have the urn made without an opening and keep it as a memorial.

Costs of these customized urns range from very low to very high, based on the quality and what it is made from. Even the very inexpensive ones are beautiful, and made with good quality. The finishing details might not be as detailed, but they are still very beautiful.

Urns can be ordered from online stores. Though they are not truly custom-made, they can be customized. The name and date engraved on it. In some cases you even can even add a special saying or poem. Also, if you don't want to have them engraved on the box, you can hand write a special letter or memory about your dog that means something to you and put it inside.

There are many ways to remember a beloved dog, but a cremation urn is a good one. Not only does it allow you a means of remembering it pleasantly, but it is a conversation piece. When others see it and open a conversation, it sometimes helps to talk about your pet. In this way you keep them alive in your memory.
